Jan David Frouman

/ Group Managing Director

As Group Managing Director, Jan oversees all aspects of Red Arrow's business activities and international operations.

Prior to launching Red Arrow, Jan spent six years with ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG where he held various corporate positions within the Group´s TV channel and content divisions. Most recently, Jan served as Executive Vice President, Group Content Acquisitions and Production and was responsible for licensed programming deals, production company assets, and the Group´s international distribution unit.

Previously, Jan was a Director at Saban Capital Group, a media-focused private equity firm in Los Angeles, CA, and, in 2003, was a member of the Saban transaction team that led and executed the acquisition of ProsiebenSat.1 Media AG.

Jan has a bachelor''s degree from Colgate University and an MBA from USC´s Marshall School of Business. He lives with his wife and their two children in Munich.

Jens Richter

/ Group Director, International Distribution

As Group Director, International Distribution, Jens is responsible for all worldwide program sales, securing international rights and overall representation deals. He continues as Managing Director of SevenOne International.

Jens has more than 15 years of experience in the media industry. Before launching SevenOne International in 2004, he served four years as Managing Director for Beta Film, Munich, responsible for the worldwide distribution of free/pay TV, home video and theatrical rights. Prior to this, Jens was employed as Senior Vice President at Prisma Sports & Media, London, where he markedly improved business performance in the sports sector. Prisma Sports & Media handles the Soccer World Cup and the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Jens has a degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilian University. He lives with his wife and their son in Munich.

Michael Schmidt

/ Group Director, Creative Operations & Business Development

As Group Director, Creative Operations & Business Development, Michael oversees all content development and acquisition activities.

Michael has worked in the television industry for more than 20 years, specifically in the fields of broadcasting, producing, commissioning and development. He started his career while still in school as a researcher and writer at pubcaster WDR in Cologne. Michael's subsequent positions included TV Director at entertainment producer BRAINPOOL, Creative Producer for RTL Television's entertainment department, Executive Producer and Consultant for Granada Germany and Director Editorial at young entertainment station VIVA.

Michael joined the ProSiebenSat.1 Group in 2005, undertaking various roles, including Senior Vice President of Entertainment for German Free-TV operations. During his time at ProSieben, Michael's productions received a German TV award, several German comedy awards and the prestigious Grimme Award. His strong producing and commissioning background has earned him considerable respect in the international TV community. Michael lives with his wife and their three children in Munich.

John Jongerden

/ Group Director, Finance & Operations

As Group Director, Finance & Operations, John oversees Red Arrow's day-to-day financial activities, and plays a central role in the Group's operational expansion and integration efforts.

Prior to the launch of Red Arrow, John spent three years as a business consultant for FremantleMedia Ltd. He was responsible for financial reorganization and process improvements within several TV production companies throughout Europe and Asia.

John began his career in the Netherlands as a financial manager in the IT industry. After moving from the Netherlands in 1991, John worked for 10 years at Endemol Deutschland Holding GmbH as Manager of Finance and five years as Director of Finance for GRUNDY Light Entertainment GmbH. During this time, he participated in several mergers and was responsible for change management to meet the needs of the constantly changing television production business.

John is a passionate motorcycle rider and lives with his Dutch family and dog near Munich.

Anja Kuchering

/ Assistant to the Management Team

As Assistant to the Management Team Anja supports the Red Arrow management team in all administrative matters.

Previously, Anja spent three years with ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, assisting the division manager of Projects & Processes at ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion, before joining Group Content Acquisitions & Production as Team Assistant in 2007. Most recently, Anja's responsibilities covered contract management and all areas of office administration.

Prior to joining ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, Anja was Assistant to the Head of Development & Transmission at BMW Munich and Sales Assistant at Renesas Technologies.

Anja has a Master's degree in Political Science and English from Rostock University. She lives with her husband and son in Munich.

Dr. Chloe Ethelontis

/ Vice President, Group Operations

As VP, Group Operations, Chloe manages the operational interface across Red Arrow businesses as well as the Group's international expansion process.

Chloe joined the ProSiebenSat.1 Group in 2007 directly after its merger with SBS Broadcasting Group. As Project Manager, she created and guided the integration process of diverse functional teams. Recently, Chloe joined the Group Content Acquisitions & Production division as International Project Manager. Here she supported the overall build-out of an in-house production, distribution and development strategy. She also managed the planning and implementation of various re-structuring initiatives.

Chloe has a doctorate in management, specializing in cross-border post-M&A integration, from the University of London. Before moving to Munich, Chloe lived and worked in London.

Denise Mittelstraß

/ Controller

As Controller, Denise manages regular reporting and budgeting issues as the interface between the Red Arrow Group and ProSiebenSat.1 Media.

Denise joined ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG in 2005 as Controller for the licenced acquisitions department as well as several smaller Group subsidiaries, such as SevenPictures and PS Event. At the same time, she supported Program Controlling in all cross-channel related areas (e.g. cash management) and, more recently, Red Arrow's existing production companies Producers at Work and Magic Flight Film. Denise's prior Controlling experience covers banking, insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.

Denise has a diploma in International Business from the University of Applied Science Trier.

Nina Etspüler

/ Creative Producer, Creative Operations & Business Development

As Creative Producer, Nina focuses on identifying and developing properties together with the Group's creative teams. She is also responsible for consulting internal and external partners on our strategic IP during rollout phases.

Previously, Nina worked as an award-winning development and program manager within our German broadcaster's entertainment and comedy department.

Dana Diaconescu

/ Junior Manager, Creative Operations

As Junior Manager, Creative Operations, Dana supports the team in managing the development pipeline, from conception to presentation. She also focuses on key operational projects for the Group.

Dana has previously supported ProSiebenSat.1’s Format Research unit as well as Red Arrow’s Group Operations team as an intern. 

Before moving to Munich, Dana completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and a Master's degree in Business Management at the University of Westminster in London.

Ulrike Junker

/ Senior Controller

As Senior Controller, Ulrike manages regular reporting and budgeting issues, acting as an interface between SevenOne International, Red Arrow Entertainment Group and ProSiebenSat.1 Media.

Ulrike joined the ProSiebenSat.1 in 2002 as a Controller at PSP, working for several departments such as Broadcasting Services and Creative Solutions. In 2009, she joined TV Germany Controlling (ProSieben Team). Additionally, she supported the program asset review and the new workflow for the implemented quarterly review of program assets.

Ulrike’s prior experience covers media, banking and publishing. She has a diploma in business economics from the Academies of Business Administration and Public Management, Augsburg.
