The Mob Film Company is one of the most successful independent TV production companies in the UK, shooting event drama, documentary and feature films throughout the world. The Mob is best known for Sir Terry Pratchett’s “Discworld” TV drama adaptations, gaining record ratings and winning both BAFTA and RTS awards. Most recently the company has gained international acclaim for their award-winning feature documentary “In the Land of the Free”, narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and directed by Vadim Jean.

The 51% purchase of The Mob represents the first strategic acquisition by Red Arrow in the key UK market. Content produced by The Mob will be sold worldwide by Red Arrow’s program distribution arm, SevenOne International. The Mob will also work closely with Red Arrow Entertainment UK, a newly formed subsidiary of Red Arrow Entertainment Group and managed by Joel Denton and James Baker.

CPL is one of the most successful independent TV production companies in the UK. Its output spans primetime entertainment, comedy and factual entertainment, with an impressive roster of hit shows including Sky One’s “A League of Their Own” and ITV’s “Mr. & Mrs.” CPL’s senior management team comprises of some of UK’s best-known and respected TV executives: Danielle Lux, Managing Director (previously with Celador, BBC & C4); Murray Boland, Creative Director (formerly with E4, MTV & C4); Heather Hampson, Director of Production (Celador & Channel X) and Janet Oakes, Commercial Director (formerly with Celador). The majority acquisition represents the first investment by Red Arrow in the strategically important UK non-scripted market. CPL shows will be sold worldwide by SevenOne International.

Endor is a recently established UK scripted company led by Hilary Bevan Jones, a high-profile producer with extensive credentials.

Hilary has worked on numerous ground breaking and influential drama (“Cracker” for ITV and “Red Dwarfâ€� and “State of Play” for BBC) and has won a primetime Emmy for the acclaimed HBO film “The Girl in the Café”. In 2006, she was also made Chairman of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the first woman in its 60 year history to hold this position.

Endor is already working on an exciting slate of TV and film projects together with key creative talent including Richard Curtis, Paul Mayhew-Archer, Neil Gaiman, Lenny Henry and Julian Farino. Endor´s formats and finished programmes will be sold worldwide by Red Arrow´s programme distribution arm, SevenOne International.

The company joins UK drama company Mob and US scripted producer Fuse, creating a powerful complementary fit between Red Arrow´s growing roster of international scripted assets.

NERD was founded in 2010 by industry-leading executives Jago Lee and John Farrar. They rapidly built an impressive reputation for creativity, specialising in factual entertainment and factual formats for the UK and international markets.

Previously, Farrar and Lee ran teams at more than half a dozen UK independent production companies, including Tiger Aspect, Talkback Thames, Raw and Diverse. The company has a number of ongoing projects, including a major order from Discovery Networks and development deals in the UK, US, Germany and France.

Recently, ProSieben picked up NERD’s new the hidden camera show for the Facebook generation, “The Anti Social Network�, demonstrating the great pool of creativity coming through the Red Arrow Entertainment Group into SevenOne International´s catalogue.

NERD is a key addition to Red Arrow UK’s complementary portfolio of production companies, each covering a specific content area, leveraging market potential and working closely with the Red Arrow Group to create an outstanding slate.
