Snowman Productions was launched in October 2010 in partnership with CEO Pontus Gårdinger to focus on the development and production of entertainment formats in the Scandinavian market. Headquartered in Stockholm, Snowman accelerated its business activities into Denmark in January 2011, followed by Norway in February 2012.

With more than 15 years of experience in the television business, Gårdinger has been enormously successful as a producer, creative executive and TV presenter. Before partnering with Red Arrow, he was Head of Executive Production at Jarowskij (Zodiak), whilst also hosting the hit show “Beat the Star” on Sweden’s Kanal 5 this Fall. Previously, Gårdinger was Executive Creator and Producer at ITV-owned production company Silverback, and hosted programs on Swedish public channel, SVT. Among his co-development and production credits are “Grattis Världen” (Kanal 5, 2005),“Var fan är mitt Band” (SVT 2008), “Draknästet” (“Dragon’s Den”) (SVT 2008-2009), “Robinson” (“Survivor”) (TV4 2009), and “Fångarna på Fortet” (“Fort Boyard”) (TV4 2010).

Gårdinger has assembled a core team of top production and creative executives, including Sjöfn Blöndal, (COO, Silverback), Martin Akander (Executive Producer, Kanal 5), Dewi Jahja (Executive Producer), Sara Goldensohn (Head of Development, Kanal 5), Martina Håkansson (Project Manager for STO-CPH, Jarowkskij, Silverback) and Erika Heizinger (Head of Marketing, SBS Radio). Furthermore, former Nordisk Film executive trio Rasmus Steentoft, Lars Fønss and Michael von Würden joined the group to head up Snowman’s operations in Copenhagen.
